How to Assign Project Tasks

To assign project deliverables, firstly, you need to go to the main section ‘Projects hub’. This can be found on the main dashboard. You can use the navigation list on the left-hand side to click on ‘Projects hub’ to open the folder.

You will see a list of existing projects. To assign a project task, click the ‘view’ button that is located on the top right-hand corner of the project that you wish to assign. The project will be opened, and you will see a row of headings under the main project title (Overview, Workstreams, Tasks, Knowledge & Evidence, Exports & Team). Each heading is interactive. Navigate to the heading ‘Tasks’ and click to open.

On this page, you will see the pre-existing project Tasks and modules. Above these, on the right-hand side of the page, click on the ‘+ Create Task’ button.

You will be presented with a blank form so you can add new Tasks to this project. Fill in the form’s details - Name, Description, use the dropdown to select the type and the dropdown in the assignee section.

Finish by selecting the date and then clicking on the ‘Create Task’ button, which is at the bottom right-hand corner of the form.

Your new assigned project Tasks have now been added and can be viewed in the project.
